Description:
This event is designed to give students a chance to meet with academic, corporate and industry representatives to learn about the many career options available in math, science, and statistics and discuss current career and internship opportunities. GVSU students interested in majoring or currently majoring in math, biology, natural resource management, chemistry, physics, geology, statistics or other related fields are encouraged to attend.
Panel Discussion: 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.
Five representatives will be present to speak briefly about their experiences in careers held by math, science, and statistics majors. Students will have an opportunity to ask questions in an open setting.
Career Fair: 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Industries, government, and academic units will be present with table booths to represent their organization and describe career opportunities for professionals in the areas of math, science, and statistics.
